The Future Of Yesterday is an experimental short film about the resurgence of the Straight Edge hardcore music scene in Germany. What began in the 1980s as a subculture of hardcore punk, united by the shared ideals of abstinence from drugs and alcohol and the protection of animals, has developed into a multidimensional movement in the post-pandemic world that encompasses social justice and environmental activism.
